I am trying to copy a gnd via and place it in a QFN center pin . When I place the via  anywhere in the center pad it snaps to the exact center of the pad.  How do I stop this so I can add a number vias ?

    Hello,

I see what you mean, as you start getting closer to pad center the stitch via starts snapping to the pad center.  The snapping doesn't seem to occur along the pad edges of larger pads but as you move closer to the pad center the snapping starts.

Setting the Environmental Variable  "copy_no_autosnap"  should stop the snapping.    At least it worked for me :-)   Give it a try.

    Hope this helps,
    Mike Catrambone

Go to Setup - User Preferences - Interactive and enable the copy_no_autosnap there.
