File-Export-PDF needs license?

After just upgrading everyting to V17 I noticed that the File->Export->PDF is not functional in OrCAD Pro. Is this a special license that I missed? It's the only menu tree item that does not work for me.

Yes, sadly they removed the 'free' PDF creation since HF49 or 50. As I have been told this has to do something with licencing of a 3rd party tool to create the actual PDFs. For now they don't know when…

I believe it requires a 'Allegro_Design_Publisher' license

Just as a FYI Export PDF is back again without a license. Available in 17.2-2016 S065 and 17.4-2019 S005..

I see on Cadence that that license is for schematic publishing PDF not for layout. That is the issue...but you might be right. I'll see what the VAR says.

<edit> The VAR responded with the same as what David said above: Needs Design Publisher license...sigh..
