bottom symbol Pin number not visible in auto cad while exporting DXF file from allegro ??

Hi everyone,

i tried to export  the bottom pad pin number from allegro as DXF file. while import i could not find the Bottom pad pin number in auto cad. i could see the TOP pad pin number in auto cad.

but i could not visible bottom pad or bottom symbol pin number in auto cad. is any special setting is there in allegro ??

    I just tested this in SPB 16.6 & I can see the pin text for both the top and bottom pins, however the text is all on 1 layer in both Allegro & the DXF file

    The difference in the DXF data is the "Generation:  Normal" vs "Generation:  Backward" information which reflects the text mirror status for top vs bottom

    I know this is an old post, but how did you get pin numbers for bottom pads to export? It will export pin numbers for top pins, but not bottom pins for me (all SMT). Using 17.4
