    I just threw this together:

    procedure(dim_txt()
    let(()
    axlClearSelSet()
    axlSetFindFilter( ?enabled list("noall" "symbols") ?onButtons list("noall" "symbols"))
    axlSingleSelectPoint()
    when(nindex(car(axlGetSelSet())->name "DIMENSION")
    foreach(obj (car(axlGetSelSet())->children)
    when(obj->objType == "text"
    axlMsgPut("text %s" obj->text)
    )
    )
    )
    )
    )

    Hi David,

    I not only need the distance but also two coordinate points for the distance.

    Any idea?
