Hello,

I am having a problem with creating a drill table in allegro 17.2. To create a drill table and put in the artwork area i have done as below.

Manufacture > Create Drill Table > Pressed Ok(changed nothing in this pop up)

Then I have a drill table shown in the artwork are and I have also put it into the artwork area. but after changing the view from the visibility panel, the drill table disappears.

Help me with the same.

My experience with drill tables are that if they are defined for separate layers, these new sub-classes gets created at time of instantiation and they might not be visible. They also gets created with same color, overlayed of each other. Try making all subclasses visible.

FYI - Many of the folks I've worked did not realize the drill tables are created as a group, so to move one your must have the group option selected under filters.

    Good luck

As the others have said, it appears on a new manufacturing layer.  Be sure to add that layer into your view or it will "disappear" because its visibility changes.

Also - TIP: When you move the 'group' drill table, it will plop down in that exact same position the next time(s) you generate the drill table. Move it once and bam - done! Now, would someone tell Cadence to make the 'like' tolerance easier (e.g. instead of +.075 - .075, make it +/-.075!). Just a pet peeve of mine, but the amateur output looks crudy.
