Converting Via into DXF marked circle

KARTHIK RANGARAJ

I received DXF file from mechanical team. In DXF has some circle. I have to place via in that circle location.  Is there is any way to place via automatically  in the provided circle location.

if u have a conversion tool, u can first change the lines to shapes and then change the shapes to padstacks.

if u do not have the conversion tool, u can try this skill

u can download the zip file.

    https://community.cadence.com/cadence_technology_forums/f/pcb-skill/7407/axlskill-function-to-convert-a-cline-to-a-shape

for the shape to padstack conversion, u can type the following in the command line

    shape to padstack

if nothing works, u might want to place vias manually after figuring out the xy location of the vias on the dxf file as it has got only 30 vias.
