QR Barcode

Wild

Hi Folks!
New request from the boss, they want to add QR Barcodes to our PCB's.  Did a little searching and I haven't found a solution that works well for 16.6.  Does anyone have ideas?
I can create them as a dxf and bring them in, but not all the shapes are filled in.  I can do this manually, be it's a PIA.

Thanks in advance,

Wild

You need a license to start PCB Editor (allegro.exe) to run the script and generate the symbol. You have the template DRA file and SCR (script) file in the folder so you could save those away, then start PCB Editor in your EDM environment, open the template DRA file and then run the script, effectively File>Script, select the SCR file and Replay.

I sounds like your machine isn't configured, at least doesn't have the license source set, until you launch the EDM environment, at which point, the necessary settings are probably available to the EDM session on your machine but probably not to "any" session on you machine, like being able to start PCB Editor "standalone", from the Start Menu or a double-click on the allegro.exe file in the installation.
