How to remove random Items associating on symbols

I am trying to move a component that I placed but the symbol now has random vias and traces attached as part of the symbol. How do I remove the association?

These are probably fanout vias which get marked so they move with the symbol. Try Route - Convert Fanout - unmark then choose the pin/via to unmark it. You can also draw a window and unmark them in one step.

I will try that. I didn't create any fanout but I assume the system did something to that. The strange part is that 3 vias are connected to the symbol, but there are other parts that are only traces.
