Placing decoupling caps on the bottom side under the BGA

Hi,

I'm looking for a skill that would determine the BGA to be either 1mm or .8mm and then place the caps according.

I trying to speed up the process of placing these caps. The majority of boards I work on may have 6-8 BGAs on them.

Is this possible?

Thanks,

Peter

I think it will pay off if you look at EMA-EDA's Circuitspace plugin for Allegro/Orcad.   Works with HDL and CIS.

I have built a CS library of circuit blocks I can accurately replicate even if it's a partial match.  Accommodates netlist differences between blocks (missing termination resistors are ignored.)

When block placement is complete, apply template copper including shapes, CLINES and vias even if the stackup is different from the template.

Allows you to rotate circuit blocks at odd angles and flip to the back side of the board.  And, crossprobe between an intelligent PDF for placement.
