How to set a funckey to submenu item in Allegro / PCB designer ?

I am trying to set up a funckey in the env file to point to a submenu item.

I am trying to assign the "d" key to point to the "Setup>Areas>package Height"  submenu item.

I did this in the env file : funckey d "Package Height"   , but PCB designer can not find it.

How can i make a keyboard shortcut to a submenu item ?

I'm not sure you can create a funckey definition point to a submenu

however the actual command you want the funckey to run is 'package_height'

    funckey d "package_height"

    Thank you , that worked.

I didn't put in the underscore.

The odd thing is that i created another shortcut this way : funckey p "shape edit boundary" without underscores and it worked. So i assumed it would be the same for the package height function.

Most of the Allegro commands use spaces in the command names, but a few use _ instead

I always use 'helpcmd' to see what the actual command name is before referencing it in an alias or menu entry...

Fantastic. I was looking for a list of commands.

I found a document by cadence that is giving a few examples of funckey commands , but i haven't found anything that explains the command syntax for more complex keystrokes.

Do you know by chance if there is such a tutorial or document existing?
