PAD AND SOLDERMASK CHAMFER

Hi Everyone,

This newbie (me) need some help with Pad stack editor. I have a chamfer corner on my pad stack that measure 0.4101mm in length.

What Corner Chamfer Value would that exactly translate in Pad stack editor? I tried putting 0.4101 and then placed the pad in my symbol then exported a dxf file to see if it will come out as 0.4101 but it did not.

This is part of my pad drawing where the chamfer is.

Any input will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks a lot!

    Hi!

If you want a chamfer with a size of x, you must input "x/√2" in the corner chamfer size. In you case, that will be 0.2899.

You can see a chamfer as the diagonal of a square :)
