Same net shape to via spacing when a via edge touches the shape: how to set the shape to void the via edge?

What exactly do you mean? This is what I understand you want to do: You have a via that touches a shape and they both belong to the same net: 

As you can see in the picture, there is full contact between the via and the shape. I think you want it to look like this: 

With a thermal relief ... 

If this is the case, there are several ways to do it depending on how global you want the change to be. You can go to Shape > Global Dynamic Params... and modify this for all shapes in the design. Or you can go to Shape > Layer Dynamic Params... and change it for each layer.

Last but not least, you can Shape Edit Mode:

Then, whenever you select a shape, you can right click and you'll see this option: 

No matter what you choose, the interface will be the same: 

Go to the Thermal Refief connects tab and change the Vias field.

The edge of a via is touching the edge of a same-net shape. The center of the via is not within the shape.

The shape is not voided to remove the small copper sliver. The vias need to have full contact, not thermal ties. 

I usually look for these on my designs and adjust the shapes. I want an automatic shape void or DRC solution.
