Retaining component nets after changing the origin

Apexter

I have a Footprint placed in PCB for which I have changed the Origin from Pin 1 to body center. When I update the footprint in PCB Editor the nets are getting ripped off. I want to know is there any procedure to update the symbol without affecting the nets.

I am using OrCAD PCB Designer Professional - 17.4 S033

u can simply move the origin without updating the symbol by chaning the value of the "move origin" setting on the design parameter editor.
