DFA circle will not appear while placing components in allegro PCB Artist ?

I think you need to open Setup>Constraints>Modes...

Then select Design For Assembly>PkgToPkg Spacing

Then enable Package to package spacing

OK, I have 2 different licenses:

it works for me using 'Allegro PCB Designer'

it does not work for me using 'OrCAD PCB Designer Standard'

However I don't know what features are included with your Allegro PCB artist license, sorry
