contracting shapes with voids

hello 
 
 i have a rectangular shape with a void as shown below.

i would like to contract the void only by x amount all around without changing the size of the shape as shown below.

how can i do it?

Use select shape to select the void, then edit the void.

Try the below suggested steps- 1 In the Options Tab, select or make the Boundary Class visible. 2 In the Find filter, enable the 'Voids/Cavities' objects and hover your cursor over a void, the void is highlighted. 3 Right-click and choose 'Expand/Contract'. 4 Set value in the Options tab which in your case would be the 'x'. 5 Use the - button to contract the void. The void will be contracted by x amount without changing the size of the shape. 6 Right-click and choose Done from the pop-up menu. 
 Try these steps as it would help to contract the voids inside shape by an 'x' amount without changing the size of the shape.
