When exporting the IDX file and importing to the mechanical software such as solid works the 3D boxes are not visible

Dear Community,

I am facing an issue related to the export of a PCB layout file from Allegro X Designer. In the 3D Canvas window of Allegro X Designer, I can view 3D boxes corresponding to the defined package heights, even though no 3D models are assigned to the layout. However, when I export the IDX file and import it into mechanical software such as SolidWorks, the 3D boxes do not appear.

I would appreciate it if someone could help me understand the potential cause of this issue. Am I possibly missing a step or configuration during the export or import process?

Looking forward to your insights and guidance.

Best regards,
Rohit Rohan

Check the User Preferences for idx_place_bounds_top and _bttom and make sure that is the same subclass you are seeing in the 3dx canvas.
