Hello,

Does OrCAD have an interactive HTML BOM feature like the Kicad?

Currently I am using OrCAD 22.1 PCB Editor.

Thank you.

Now, variant manager is an integral part of the CIS option for Orcad.  This is the key to generating different BOMS for the same artwork that don't need editing (zero-touch.)

My take on this feature of KiCAD:  split screen view of the BOM list and the board layout. Select a line item on the BOM and it highlights the parts on the layout sharing the same MPN.  Useful for hand-stuffing bare boards, which we don't do.

The only method I can think of:  If you have access, Downstream Blueprint tool is useful to generate assembly drawings with pcb views having polarity/pin1's highlighted.   Add a second view that highlights noStuff parts to validate our variants for values that are unknown until the board is tuned and for noLoad of entire blocks.
