hello

is there a way to retain the fillet even if the clines r shifted based on vias?

i see some designs that keep the fillets but i do not know where the fillet setting is located.

regards

    Hi Masa,

For fixing the teardrops and to avoid their removal, you can set the enable_fixed_fillets variable in the Route > Gloss category of User Preferences Editor. This can be accessed using the Setup > User Preferences command.

After setting this variable, it is required to restart the tool for adding new items for fixing and unfixing the teardrops in the Route > Teardrop / Tapered Trace menu.

The new commands Fix Teardrop and Unfix Teardrop will be added.

Select Route > Teardrop / Tapered Trace > Fix Teardrop and then select the teardrop that needs to be fixed. The following message will be displayed:

Fixed status added to teardrop element Shape at x,y on subclass X

The teardrops will not be changed dynamically when the traces are slided or moved. You need to unfix and delete the teardrops using Route > Teardrop / Tapered Trace > Unfix Teardrop to generate teardrops dynamically.

    hello

    thank u for ur response.

i am sorry that i did not explain enough.

this is not what i am looking for unfortunately.

i see a design where i slide a cline with a fillet around a via and the fillet also moves along with the cline.

for ur setting, if i slide a cline, the fillet is fixed and stays the same location.

i would not like to fix the fillet but move fillets along the cline motion.

i do know that this exists but i do not know where the fillet setting is.

    regards

    masa

    Hello,

what you describe is Dynamic Filet.

It is located in gloss parameters. BUT only with allegro license, not orcad license : dynamic filets are disable with orcad license. This is one of limitations.
