Missing data in the stephdr file from ODB++ export

Hi all,

We have an AOI machine supplier who says the stephdr file in our ODB++ export is incorrect.

So my question is if it is possilbe to configure this somehow. The Valor export wizard is very basic in its options and getting a support account at siemens seems complicated...

In the exported ODB++ file i have a stephdr file containing the following data:

UNITS=MM
X_DATUM=0
Y_DATUM=0
X_ORIGIN=0
Y_ORIGIN=0
TOP_ACTIVE=0
BOTTOM_ACTIVE=0
RIGHT_ACTIVE=0
LEFT_ACTIVE=0
AFFECTING_BOM=
AFFECTING_BOM_CHANGED=0
ID=5

our AOI supplier however says the following data also should be included in the same file whitch it is not:

STEP-REPEAT {
NAME=stp
X=0
Y=0
DX=0
DY=300
NX=1
NY=2
ANGLE=0
MIRROR=0
}

hope there are some ODB++ experts around here, Im sure there are:)

Im using Orcad PCB Designer Professional 23.1 and panelizing with Fab Panelization tool.

best regards everyone!

    Hey DavidAhl ,

    I read the ODB++ manual provided by Siemens.

    From my understanding, these fields may be included only if your panel board contains step-and-repeat data (though I could be wrong on this). I believe this needs to be added in Valor.

    In Valor, you can view panelization information in the Step & Repeat Table dialog box.

    I recommend referring to the ODB++ User Guide / ODB++Design Format Specification for more details on this.

    Since ODB++ is a product of Siemens, their engineers would be the best point of contact for clarification.
