Placement Grid not working

VishnuVRD
VishnuVRD 5 months ago

Hi,

I'm trying to place components with 2mm grid size but it's not working. Routing is working fine with 2mm grid, but when I move components it's not working. I set 2mmgrid size using Setup -> Design Parameters -> Display -> Setup grids on Etch and Non-Etch layers. It was working fine until yesterday, not sure what happened.

Thank you.

This is usually dependant on the Application mode you are in (or command). Try changing the application mode to Placement Edit and that should use the Non-Etch grid. There are lots of ways to change this - right click on the screen - Application Mode - Placement or look in the bottom right hand corner of the screen and yiou should see a mode which can be changed.
