MAX File import in OrCAD PCB 24.1

Hello everybody,

is there any way to import old Layout MAX Files into the OrCAD PCB Designer 24.1?
In "File-->Import--> CAD Transllators" this option no longer there.

    You can still do this if you have access to version 22.1 or older. Remember to enable the User Preference (Setup - User Preferences - unsupported - layout2allegro_unsupported) and restart the tools, you can then see it under the CAD Translators menu.

    Hello. I'm trying the same thing as the OP. I have 25.1 installed and installed 22.1 (22.1-2022 S012) just to try this and I can't see this preference in the unsupported list.

    There was an error in the previous post. The last supported version for the OrCAD Layout max import was 17.4-2019 Bear in mind that OrCAD Layout was end of life at the end of March 2009, so the 32-bit translator was supported in various guises for around 13 years before being dropped from the 22.1 Release, and onwards.

    Thank you. I just confirmed and after installing 17.4-2019 that option is still availabe.
