Net Short property not taking effect

I've assigned a Net Short property to a number of pins (red rectangle) in a symbol, but only one seem to be taking effect. The +24V shape has Thermal relief connects set to Full Contact for Smd pins. What's going on?

Using Allegro X Designer 24.1-2024 S003 [3/6/2025] Windows SPB 64-bit Edition.

I can't get it to work either

I remember it worked when we added the PIN_SHORT properties in the schematic using Design Entry HDL

I've been told by the Cadence support that there's an issue with the rectangle pad geometry and the Net Short property. Cadence is investigating it.
