How to add a white rectangle with black text in top silkscreen layer?

Using OrCAD X PCB Professional (OrCAD X 24.1).

I've been using Allegro in it's various revisions for many years, but this is the first time I have run into this: a client wishes for me to provide a small white rectangle on the top layer SS with black text inside the rectangle. How can this be done? I have tried using add>frectangle and then in display>assign color I assigned the color white to it, it shows up as white in the editor but not certain how it will turn out. Is there a known/approved methodology to add a colored rectangle with colored text to a SS layer? And also how about adding color for text, the display>assign color will not allow selection of text? Or must this all be specified in the fab drawing notes for fab house to implement?

Thanks.

another possibility is to use the custom command 'text2shape' from skill code attached in the zip file to convert the text into shape(s) for each letter:

text2shape t   ( the optional t enables the deletion of the text after the conversion to shapes )

Then use the 'Shape->Shape Operations-> ANDNOT to remove the shapes for each character from the surrounding shape

    text2shape.zip

The fab house was ok with the original method suggested  in first response, so I went with it. Thanks!

I have used the method of creating subclasses like "NEGATIVE_TEXT_TOP_ETCH" and when ordering boards specified that the manufacturer performs this subraction operation when preparing the files for processing. Using methodes like ie. suggested by Parallel systems work, but it requires careful attention to the appertures used when creating shapes. Also, texts created using that method are non-moveable.
