axlSkill func to replace via's by window or group

THis function allows you to select several vias using multiple selections and group and then replace them with a different via.

    This means that there is a fixed property on the via or that something else is wrong, where the function axlRpelacePadstack did succeed. Do a show element, set your filter to vias only and clikc on the via in question.

    As you can see in the code below the program takes the list of vias and replaces them and stores the dbids of the replaced objects in "ldbids"
    ...
    (setq ldbid (axlReplacePadstack vias2replace padstk_name))
    (if (length ldbid) != cnt then
    (sprintf msg "WARNING: Replaced only %d out of %d vias.\n\nCheck for FIXED property and retry." (length ldbid) cnt)
    axlUIConfirm(msg)
    else
    (sprintf msg "Info: Replaced %d out of %d vias." (length ldbid) cnt)
    axlUIConfirm(msg)
    );
    );if

    ...

    In other words we know how many we have to replace and we know how many got replaced.
