Thanks for your query.

An administrator or library administrator can set a default search filter in Unified search. This search filter will then be for any user who opens Unified search. To set the default filter, do the following:

An administrator should open Unified search either in Allegro System Capture or in Browser using the following link:

http://<pulse master node url>:<port no.>/search/app/dashboard/search

Example: pulseserver-noida:7100/.../search

1. Create the desired search filter. You can refer to the Unified Search User Guide to understand details of creating filters. 
2. Once you have created the filter, click on the hamburger icon and select Set as default search filter. This option is only visible to the administrator or library administrator.
