    I don’t understand the question. Which tool are you using? What do you mean by “in a partition”?

    thanks for your reply.

    use axlDBGetDesing to get the component,so can got it's imformation as follow:

    Skill > a~>parentGroups~>type
    (("PARTITION"))

    but it is not useful with  "axlSingleSelectBox" to choose the component (allegro 17.2). Pls help,thank.

    Ok, that explains it. This is nothing to do with Custom IC design but a PCB/Allegro question. I’ll move your post to the correct forum (please take care in future to post in the right place and provide sufficient detail when asking questions).
