System Capture 24.1 how to move newly created symbols from 'my parts' to 'library' in the unified search window?

Hi,

I've been creating new symbols using Part Developer in a dev library. Once I'm happy with the symbol I copy the part folder (which contains other folders i.e. chips, entity, metadata, part_table and sym_1...) into my main corporate library.

Most of the time this goes great. I open the system capture tool and the unified search and I can find my parts under 'Library' However sometimes the new symbols only show up under the 'my parts' library tab.

1) What causes a symbol to show up under 'Library' vs 'My Library' tab in the unified search window?

2) How can I change where a symbol shows up?

I have >200 created symbols in the 'Library' tab, but the latest four symbols I've created are under 'My Parts'

Thanks

Rob

How do you have your library paths configured with a project where you see this and with a project where you don't?

I have a SITE setup for libraries, so it's the same for both.

However, I think that I have discovered the reason. It looks like the pulse server (that runs when you launch the System Capture tool) needs to rescan the directories after I add new symbol folders. If I shutdown the tool, wait, then shutdown pulse server, wait, then finally re-launch System Capture the new symbols will show up in 'Library'
