Method of manually assigning connectivity within the PCB Editor?

All:

 I'm using V15.2 of Cadence, and from all I've looked through there doesn't seem to be a method to manually assign connectivity to parts you would load from a library into the PCB editor. Having used other tools previously [only using Cadence now since 11/08] there was always a method of doing this task. I figure if you can load parts w/o a netlist packaged from the schematic then you can add connectivity as well. Is this tool capable of this? Maybe available in newer revs possibly? Thanks in advance for your assistance to this Cadence newbie :).

    See if this works:

    1) Setup->User Preferences->Misc and check the box for "logic_edit_enabled"

    2) Logic->Net Logic
