Changing from One class to other

Hi., I am working on Allegro 16.2. I have to import logo in to the board. Since the PCB area is keep on shrinking, sometime i am moving to Etch, Soldermask, Silk, on various classes. Every time i am importing in to respective class separately. Is thr any easy way to do other than importing, by changing from one class to other easily.

There is a command to Copy Lines Across Classes which includes an option box to delete the data from the existing layer if desired. The data has to be decomposed to lines. I'm not real sure if it would work for you, but may be worth a try.

If you want to bring in a company logo try logomaker. It's a bit of skill that gives you the ability to import jpeg, bmp files directly into PCB Editor. You could do this then set up a symbol that was either etch, mask or silk so you wouldn't have this issue. Have a look at the following link for install instructions etc.

I had logo in to many tiny shapes. Since these are imported in to shapes, i could not change them in to different class. Is thr anything that converts them in to lines while importing it from the dxf......
