Wall thickness of a via hole...

 Hi all,

What is the standard via hole wall thickness for micro, buried and PTH? When putting of vias for a power signal, it is an important issue to maintain the flow of sufficient current. Any feedback will be appreciated.

Regards,

Shiva.

Thanks Nagaraj. One of our HDI board fabricator, who have the minimum limit of fab of via wall is only 0.6mils for power vias which dimensioned 12x24 for a 1.6mm board. It's too less compared to the current in board. I think the wall thickness is vary with the type of PCB like HDI and normal PTH boards.
