    The place_txt.txt has a specific format for import / export of Placement data:

    Refdes<white_space>XLoc<white_space>YLoc<white_space>Rotation<white_space>Mirror<white_space>Footprint

    Try Tools>Reports, New / Edit to write a new report for the parameters that you need - The standard Component Report might fit the bill but the "place_txt.txt" has a fixed format.

    Hi

    Yes, using skill you would be able to do anything you want with output data.

    you can use normal printf functionality with text left/rigth aligned - also set a specific number of characters etc. for text

     

    printf("%5s" "text") - will print 5 characters

    printf("%-5s" "text") - will print 5 characters that are left aligned

    etc.
