I'd like them to be in alphabetical order but they are all over the map. Some are and some aren't. Any ideas how these can be aranged in that order?

discus, that's not quite what i was asking for but it has some possiblities. When you click on the Views pulldown in the Visibility window, there can be 3 sections separated by dashes. The first  section has Last View. The last section are the available films which you numbered some in your example. It's the middle section that has saved view files. These get created when you click View/Color View Save from the main pulldowns. I'd like to alphabetize them. if i can't, then maybe I'll create all of them as films like in your example. Thanks. Steve.

MIne are in alphabetical order. See attached. Do you have a viewpath defined ? (user preferences) put all the color files here. Also check to make sure you are on the latest hotfix.

I have 18 user defined view files and the first 15 are in order (a-z) but then it reverts back to 'a' again. strange. Our viewpath is set and my files are located in a separate location. the same thing happens even when the color files are in my local physical folder. I'll keep playing around with it as time permits. i checked all of  UI  under the preferences and couldn't see anything right away. Thanks.
