Creating .PDF using Tcl/Tk Utilities in Capture 16.3

 All,

Here's somthing a little different. I'd like to export a .pdf using the application found in  Accesories--->Cadence Tcl/Tk utilites. This gizmo (when working) produces a searchable pdf which allows one to click on components within the pdf and see properties. I've seen this work in older versions of software. Here's the hitch; I need the postscript driver path for the .pdf editor Bluebeam. I can also use the postscript friver path for Adobe Acrobat Distiller but I prefer to use Bluebeam. Attached is a .png that shows you what I am refering to. Any info will be appreciated.

Cheers,

Ron Scott

    @Kuenga606: are you talking about the RMB menu on the PDF?

    My question was about following nets on an exported PDF file.

    Thanks,

    Andres

    @hmkr: I don't find the Net Bookmarks very helpful. Maybe I'm not using them right

    I don't have that RMB option in my PDF. When I RMB click on the PDF I only get the traditional Acrobat menu.

    Thanks!

    Sorry, my mistake. It's LMB on the object, not RMB. With the latest ISR installed (16.3 or 16.5), If you click left mouse button on an offpage- you should see a Goto option to jump to other connected off-pages

    Thanks for the help, hmkr, but I'm not sure we're talking about the same thing.

    What I want is to navigate through all ports of a certain net in the exported PDF file.

    I know that the PDF Export of other CAD software accomplishes this.

    Thanks!

    Andres

     Hi there

    I have tried to create PDF files using this code:

    /// <summary>
    /// create an empty PDFDocument
    /// </summary>
    /// <param name="pageCount"></param>
    /// <returns></returns>
    public PDFDocument Create PDF Document(int pageCount)
    {
    return new PDFDocument(pageCount);
    }
    But it can now work.What's wrong with my code?Thanks for any suggestion .
