Manual route problem - PCB Editor V16.3

I’m trying to route some traces manually.  However, it’s really hard to connect to the centers between pads (shows the triangular symbol indicating it’s not connected).  I have to zoom in a lot and sometimes it still does not “latch” to the center of the pad/pin.  I tried gridless, but does not help.  Most of time I can right click and choose finish to have it connected, but does not always work.  Is there any better solution on this?

Thanks.

Make sure you have the proper objects selected in the options window.   If you have all objects turned off Allegro will never snap to the pins/vias/clines...

Yes, that was the problem.  Thank you.

    Hi

The Options tab is located down the right side of the frame by default.

It is a Fold away tab.

If its missing go to View>Reset Ui to Cadence default
