OrCAD Capture Text Formatting In A Title Block

I'm running OrCAD Capture 16.3.  I haven't had to create title blocks for several years.  I can't remember the format for putting in text that can be edited using the property editor for such things as title, dwg #, etc.  Does anyone out there remember the correct format?

Well, I found what I needed to put the property-based text into my title blocks.  When I was using OrCAD Capture 16.2 at a different  company I remember being able to edit all of the title block property strings in a spread-sheet style editor.  I thought is was under the project manager.  Maybe under Edit-.Browse-.Title Blocks.  I can't seem to find it.  Did something change in Rev 16.3, am I looking in the wrong place or am I vastly mis-remembering how I did the updates?

Any help would be greatly appreciated since I am setting up the templates for a new company and I'd like things right from the get-go.

The way I do it is what you suggested -- Edit-Browse-Title Blocks.
It's still there in 16.3  -- just make sure you select the design/sch from the project manager otherwise it gets greyed out.

Hi A much easier way is to right click on the .Dsn file in the project manager and select object properties, that will bring up the property editor for easy editing of titleblock info and other stuff Best regards Ole

The Title Blocks spreadsheet from the Browse command has the second column labeled "Page Name".

This makes some sense, for example I have a page named "POWER SUPPLY" or "RF MODULE".

The title block has the corresponding section named "Document Number". This is an absurd name for the largest section in the Title Block.

Anybody knows a way to change this text?

No idea which Title Block you are mentioning BUT a Title Block is made from Lines, Fixed Text and Property Placeholders. You can Edit a Title Block like any other part, it's actually a Symbol type but that is not really relevant. Open the Title Block Symbol in the original source Library (prefered) make a copy to YOUR library if the Title Block was originally sourced from a provided library in the installation, or the Schematic, make the changes as required. You can Edit the text and use Options>Part Properties to select Properties and change whether they are visible or not, use the Placeholders "<Page Name>" to set the location of the text, the Placeholder text will be substituted with the actual text in the schematic for that property. IF you modified the library, select the Title Block entry in the Design Cache and use Update Cache, or Replace Cache, to get the all the selected Title Block(s) in the design updated to theupdated library Title Block.
