OrCAD Capture Text Formatting In A Title Block

BuddSw

I'm running OrCAD Capture 16.3.  I haven't had to create title blocks for several years.  I can't remember the format for putting in text that can be edited using the property editor for such things as title, dwg #, etc.  Does anyone out there remember the correct format?

No idea which Title Block you are mentioning BUT a Title Block is made from Lines, Fixed Text and Property Placeholders. You can Edit a Title Block like any other part, it's actually a Symbol type but that is not really relevant. Open the Title Block Symbol in the original source Library (prefered) make a copy to YOUR library if the Title Block was originally sourced from a provided library in the installation, or the Schematic, make the changes as required. You can Edit the text and use Options>Part Properties to select Properties and change whether they are visible or not, use the Placeholders "<Page Name>" to set the location of the text, the Placeholder text will be substituted with the actual text in the schematic for that property. IF you modified the library, select the Title Block entry in the Design Cache and use Update Cache, or Replace Cache, to get the all the selected Title Block(s) in the design updated to theupdated library Title Block.
