Shape to shape clearances

I have set up 3 different Spacing CSets. (using Orcad 16.3) All the spacing clearances are working as set up

in Constraints except for the positive shapes. They are still just using the default value for spacing which is

much smaller than I need. Has anyone else had this problem?

Thanks in Advance,

Tom

It might be related to the shape parameter settings. Have a look at Shape - Global Shape Parameters, check the Clearances tab and make sure that Thru pin, smd pin and via all reference DRC as a default.

The only other thing I can think of is if the shapes are static solid rather than dynamic. Use Shape - Change shape type, in the options fold out menu make sure the shape type is dynamic then select the shape.

    Tom,

Display > Constraint can sometimes help in troubleshooting these types of issues.  See attached image.

    Hope this helps,

Thanks everyone. Finally found the problem. Using the Show Constraints window helped me realize that one of the nets was in the wrong netclass group. It's working now.

    thanks again,

    Tom
