PCB Editor and Rats Display UI

Perhaps I'm getting senile, but I can't seem to get rats to display when manually placing components.  Since this is a terribly convenient thing to have for optimal component placement, perhaps v16.5 made it go away?   Or perhaps I am suffering a Win7 or OpenGL display glitch?

When in PlaceEdit mode, I have Display > Show Rats > All selected.  The rats show up when I do a window selection of several components.  However, they disappear as soon as I select a single component to adjust its placement.  When I have a component "on the cursor" I only see a single randomly selected rat line visible from one pin of the component to some nearby component.

Can anyone clue me in to what I'm doing wrong?  Thanks.

Roger

Try going to your general move command and in the options tab make sure "stretch etch" is unchecked.  Then try again.
