Constraint Manager Doubt - Net Properties

Hello,

working in new design I need to update the netlist from capture. After updating, at CM on PCB Editor some signals are shown with a pink arrow on their left ( ).

What does this arrow means?

KR!

* EDIT: Checking schematic, I have no selected any signal (which could return this behaviour).

    Hello,

An Arrow on the left edge of the Name column indicates that the Net object is Highlighted on the Allegro canvas

In your image, Net VREG has been highlighted using Display > Highlight

Color Swatch in Type Column and Arrow on the left edge of the Name column indicate that the Net object is Assigned a color on the Allegro canvas

In your image, Net SCL and SDA has been assigned a color (White) using Display > Assign Color

I don't believe this would occur during a netlist import from Capture but maybe something weird occurred.

    Hope this helps,
    Mike Catrambone

    Thanks Mike!

Something weird is happening, because there was no net highlighted nor color modification.

I haven't found any mistakes or any modifications which could perform this action. I will keep searching for the root cause.

Meanwhile, as it is not a blocker issue, I'm going to continue with the design.

    KR!

Try a Display - Dehighlight then from the Options fold out menu click on All. Does that clear it ?

    Hi,

    thanks all!

After placement the components, I just dehighlited them as Steve said.

But, my doubts come becasue the highligthed signals appeared at generating netlist, without no component placed.

It was an easy to solve step, one more thing I know about Orcad suite.

    KR!

The nets may well be highlighted if you have them selected in OrCAD Capture (This is standard Intertool Communication between the two). The coloring is only there from the Assign Color command (as MIke mentioned) so you or a colleague may well have colored the nets.
