Snake mode disable

I'm evaluating 16.6-2015 and am playing with snake mode.  I found that once I select it during a route any further routing that is not dangling won't start routing.  I get an error message in the command window saying that the line must be dangling.

Got it.  Now how do you turn it off without clicking on a dangling route?  The only method I have found is to create a dangle and then RMB->Snake off

Is there a way to kick off snake mode through another menu?

    Snake Mode should just "work" when inside a pin field. If your routing in snake mode then click to exit snake mode you should route "normally" until you enter another pin field when snake mode enables again.

    That was certainly not the behavior I experienced.  Once I turned it on it was sticky and didn't care about pin-fields.  The only way to disable was to find another dangle and rmb->deselect.  Strange.  But I decided against the upgrade and it's no longer a issue.  Thanks for the comments.

    Shame you didn't take the update, depending on the license level you have there are many new features (apart from Snake Mode)....

    Hmmm...I tried to extract from EMA what *enhancements* I was getting from my Performance L license. The "equivalent" OrCAD Pro seemed to be only taking away features and the others I won't use. I'd love to hear if there's something useful that I missed

    Take a look at the pdf. http://www.parallel-systems.co.uk/e-mail/PCB_Suites-MATRIX.pdf It has a "New in 2015" which should give you a clue. The Performance L (which is now Allegro PCB Designer) is the third column.
