Placing 860 LEDs on pcb

Doing a job where customer requires 860 LEDs placed to form a seven segment digit. Trying to avoid manually placing each LED so......

I was given a DXF file with each LED located based on the center of the part. What would be the easiest way to get the parts placed?

Should I extract (manually) the x,y coordinates from the DXF and generate a placement file?

What is the syntax needed for the placement file?

Thanks, Tom.

I have used place replicate multiple time and it works very well, but my first impression on this design was that it would be easier to generate a placement file. Maybe I need to rethink that a bit.

For the first shot, I'm using Excel to generate the place file and given the pitch and offset for each row / column I have come up with a formula to calculate the part location for about 90% of the parts. The others I will enter manually.. Hopefully today I'll give it a shot to see how well it works.

    Thanks for the ideas everyone.
