hello

Is there any way that i can change the radius of the arc on dynamic shapes?

If so, can you tell me how?

Shape Edit Application mode, hover over the corner then right click - Remove Extend Segments which will turn it back to a 90 degree corner, then use the Round with Radius in the Options pane to redo the corners.

    thank you for your reply.

yes this is how to change it on static shapes.

but my question is to change the radius on dynamic shapes.

on dynamic shapes, the remove/extend segment(s) menu does not show up on the right click.

do you know how to change it on dynamic shapes?

This works for both static and dynamic shapes. When you hover over the corner make sure the tooltip says arc segment. If it doesn't press the TAB key to cycle through the available object types, if it still doesn't check the Find Pane and enable all object types.

thank you for your advice, steve.

and sorry for this late response.

i was able to make all 4 corners of a rectanglar shape rounded with the tab key.

but i can not change a few other corners as shown below.

is there a way to change them rounded?

    Hi, it can be done.

Try Shape > Edit Boundry. Click on the intersection you wish to round off.

In the options panel change the "Segment Type" to "ARC", You may also want to reduce your grid size when doing this as the arc will be snapping to the grid.

Draw the arc to round off the corner of the copper shape.

    Here is a picture.

    All the best.

    thank you for your reply.

i am sorry that i did not make it clear enough

this is not what i am asking actually

i do know how to change any corners rounded all at once with the tab key automatically without boundary edit.

the corners i am questioning about are created by a notch over the shape because of a cline with a different net as shown below.

     .

do you know how to change them a rounded corner?

These are related to the voided part of the shape. You can control this but it may have side effects. Look at Shape - Global Dynamic Parameters (or right click just the shape in question and select Parameters) then Void Controls tab and for acute angle trim control - set this to full round. This will round the corners, you can then adjust the radius using min aperture for gap width. This may be best done on a shape by shape basis rather than on all shapes.

    thank you steve

i was able to change the corners.

i did not use the global dynamic parameters as i set different parameters for each layer.

instead i used dynamic shape instance parameters for each shape.

    thank you again.
