Problem with "cross-section" command

Hi All,

I am an Allegro PCB beginner and I am working now on a new layout (version 16.6).

After defining the stack up at the beginning of the layout, placing all the parts and routes, I wanted to remove 1 layer.

For that, I've tried to enter the Xsection area, but when pushing the button, nothing happens: in the commands window the following is shown:

Loading cmds.cxt
Loading floor.cxt
Loading skillExt.cxt
Loading axlcore.cxt

Command >

However the expected cross section window is not coming up.

I'm working with 2 screens, tried to look for it at both.

Thanks.

If you type %HOME% and carriage return in any Explorer (e.g. folder explorer) it will take you to your 'Home' folder. In there you'll find the 'pcbenv' folder as Steve recommended.
