redundant constraints

Is there any way to delete redundant  spacing constraints in Allegro? They are all repeated with the exception of same to same, eg, Thru Pin to Thru Via and Thru Via to Thru Pin. They can also have different values, which doesn't make any sense. I assume it uses the smallest value.

Try a Tools - Database Check, there is an option to purge unused constraints

Can you post a screenshot of CM to clarify what you are trying to remove?

You didn't screen-grab the whole screen so I am guessing you are looking at the nets spacing vs the top-level spacing rules.  Nets can be overridden and inherit the top level constraints or as shown in the far left column you can apply a specific constraint definition instead of "DEFAULT".   If this is not the nets spacing display then please post a full screen-shot.

No, I'm looking at the 2 highlighted columns. "Line to Thru-pin" and Thru-pin to Line". By the time you get to the "Bond Finger" group of constraints all of the constraints have already been listed in the previous group with the exception of "Bond Finger to Bond Finger".

It's probably only a gripe that can be resolved by Cadence changing their software.
