17.4 - HF007 - Disable Capture StartPage...

Previously, there was a way to disable the startpage by adding

[Start Page]

EnableStartPage=False

in the file spinfo.ini but in spite of this the start page is displayed in HF007. Any other way to disable it now?

  • No sure about spinfo.ini but the Start Page could be disabled by setting ALLEGRO_NO_STARTPAGE under UI > Startpage category in User Preferences.  It could be manually entered in the PCBENV/ENV file as well.

    That's for Allegro (PCB Editor) And that setting is OK - No start page there.

    My question was about Capture Schematic Editor.

    Previously, there was a check-box "Do not show start page" or something similar when invoking the schematic editor. Then that parameter was listed in advanced options (or the other way around) and then a line in spinfo.ini and now the setting is gone altogether...
