"Tips from Cadence" old style reports

You will notice that Tools-Reports has changed to a new HTML format with the SPB15.2 release. Many users have developed programs that rely on the output from the old style reports previous to this release.

The old style reports you are used to are still accessible from the allegro command by typing...

old_reports

This will bring up the old style GUI you are familiar with in pre SPB15.2 releases. You may assign this command to a function key if you would like and add it to your env file as an alias such as

alias F9 old_reports

Additionally, please note the following...
You must set the allegro environment variable
allegro_old_report using
set allegro_old_report
in your env file. The setting must be in your env file. Once this variable is set, restart Allegro. Then on the Allegro command line type ""old_reports"" or select
your aliased function key to invoke the old GUI.

This feature is intended as a migration aid only in the 15.2 release and will be removed in later releases, so make sure to plan ahead.
