Hi all,

How to create a intelligent searchable pdf in concept HDL and ALLEGRO 15.2?

    On the DxDesigner (Viewdraw) side of the world there is a program called DxPDF which generates in intelligent searchable pdf file from a DxDesigner schematic. The net names and off sheet buses are hyperlinked so it jumps you around the page as well as off the page to trace a connection.

    The new Publish PDF functionality from ConceptHDL generates intelligent searchable pdf files and structures the PDF file with layers so items like net name, ref des, values, etc. can be display or not display but I do not believe it has anything hyperlinked so it jumps you around connections. Don't get me wrong, the Publish PDF functionality is a welcome addition to ConceptHDL and provides everything you could possible every want but it will never replace the actually schematic.
