NC Drill Legend setup

archive
archive over 17 years ago

I have three questions regarding setup for NC legend. We are running SPB 16.01 on a Windows XP platform. 1. What is the best text editor to use to edit the default-in.dlt file? 2. Is there any way to control the line thickness of the legend chart other than editing after chart creation? If not, this would be a great enhancement; control of line (and rectangle) thickness for plotting purposes. 3. We have not specified drill symbols with our padstack creation. Is there a way to automatically generate symbols along with the legend table? I thought there was but I can't seem to find it now. Thanks

For changing the size, change the parameters of text block 9 (setup->Text sizes) and it will reflect in the drill legend.
Be aware that I say text block 9 since that is the default with the Cadence install. You can modify your default-mils.txt (or any of them of course) to use various text blocks for different portions of the NC drill legend. Allegro spaces/sizes the table according to your text sizes.
