archive
archive over 17 years ago

Hello, When I select the menu option Manufacture--Variants--Create Assembly Drawing or Manufacture--Variants--Create Bill of Material , I get a error E- (SPMHSK-5): Variants file 'variants.lst' not found. Can anyone suggest a solution on this or tell me why am I getting this error? Regards, Prajakta.

Assuming you already created the Variant in Part Manager...

To create the variants.lst:   -For Design Entry CIS schematic capture, Open the Part Manager, select Tools>Export Variant List.   Set the path to place the variant.lst file in the same directory as your .BRD.

I find your question unclear:  Do you mean the variant.list file does not exist?
