Why am I getting the ORCOMMN-12006 Error?

Hi,

yesterday I've installed Capture CIS through the "Your Producs" page on the cadence Homepage.

So I pressed the "download" button an went through the setup process.

I can build a simple circuit and simulate it through PSpice but i cant open any .lib files. When I try to do so, the following window pops up.

I've already tried to update my license but it didnt work.

What have I done wrong?

You said that you are able to run the simulation but getting error while opening a .lib file. How are you trying to open a .lib file ?

Are you trying to open the file in model editor ?
